Find Your Ring Size — Jewellery By Design NZ
1

Cut a thin strip of paper or a length of string — about 10 cm long.

2

Wrap it snugly around the base of the finger you plan to wear the ring on. Mark where it overlaps — this is your finger's circumference.

3

If your knuckle is noticeably wider than the finger base, measure the knuckle too and choose a size that falls between the two measurements.

4

Lay the paper flat and measure the marked length in millimetres. Enter it below.

Tip: Fingers change size throughout the day. For the most accurate result, measure at the end of the day when your fingers are slightly warmer and at their largest. Avoid measuring when cold.

1

Find a ring that already fits the finger you'd like sized — it should slide on and off comfortably without being loose.

2

Place the ring on a flat surface. Using a ruler, measure straight across the inside of the ring from edge to edge — this is the inside diameter.

3

Measure in millimetres and enter it below.

Tip: Measure across the widest point of the inside of the ring. Measuring at an angle will give a smaller reading and an incorrect size.

New Zealand and Australia share the same ring sizing standard. If you fall between two sizes, we recommend sizing up for day-to-day comfort.
